It is time to reconnect with my values as I go in search of Natural, Healthy Lifestyle Solutions and rediscover a true plant-based diet.

You’re a Writer, so write…
I’ve always written, ever since I was child. I remember wanting to write books, but then I grew up.
“You can’t make a living writing,” people said.
“Get a proper job,” they advised.
The problem was I didn’t know what I wanted to do.
My first job was in a shop. I enjoyed working there, but my colleagues thought I should do more.
“There’s more to life than this!” they told me, so I ventured out into the big wide world.
Town or Country?
My hometown is a sleepy place by the sea. I left my friends and family behind, and moved to a landlocked city. The two places couldn’t be more different! One is peaceful and the other is full of hustle and bustle. I loved the adventure of being in a new city, with lots going on…
I started a university course but it wasn’t for me. I persevered because I didn’t want to quit, but I barely scraped through. I spent my time working, doing various jobs – from Market Research, Promotions, Marketing to Children’s Entertainment, Puppeteering and Acting roles.
A Vegetarian for many years, I have always been interested in natural wellness, and alternative health remedies. I qualified as a Personal Trainer, working with clients of all ages and abilities. I specialised in Corrective, Functional Exercise, and helping to improve people’s daily lives.
I taught Fitness in the Community and for National Health Clubs across the UK. This included Yoga, Pilates, Salsa and Aerobics, and developing my own classes. A selection of these classes were offered at some prestigious Spa and Health Resorts, while I was a Guest Presenter.
After learning about Colour Therapy, Meditation and Breathing Techniques, I stumbled across Spiritual Healing and became a Reiki Practitioner.
More than 10 years ago, I discovered “The Secret” and started to learn about Universal Law. Through my Spiritual Journey, I have learned about empowering others and helping people find their Soul Purpose.
Spread Your Wings and Fly…
“Travel broadens the mind,” I was told.
It’s true, learning about different languages and cultures does open your eyes. As a teenager, I travelled to South America, as a member of an International Living Project team. I helped at a camp for underprivileged children.
On another occasion, I lived with a local family, experiencing their culture and lifestyle. This was when I first realised how useful it is to speak another language. My Spanish skills had to improve quickly!
This made me feel that I want to know more, see more, and do more.
I gained my TEFL certification, and became an English teacher. I have taught English to Kindergarten and Primary Students, as well as Young Adults. The learning and teaching styles are very different for each of these groups. Understanding how people learn languages has helped me learn too!
When people hear that I live in another country, they say “How exciting!” Or “I bet the weather is good,” or “You’re brave, I don’t think I could do that”.
Actually – every day can be a challenge.
The simple things, you take for granted in your home country can be difficult. How to do every-day tasks? Shopping for groceries is something you need to learn when you move to a new place… Figuring out where to go, and how to ask the things is just the start…
Learning another language, is not just about the words – mannerisms and body language are important too.
Writing is about choosing the right words for your reader.
To write well, you need to write – a lot! Reading helps too.
Now my Professional Writer’s journey has begun. I have written some Children’s Story books and Natural Health, Diet and Self-Development books for adults. They will be available by September 2017.
I am building my Writer’s Life. My goal is to help other people create the lifestyle they dream of – better health, better fitness, better lives …
The best way for me to share this experience is to write about it…
