Welcome 2017, The Year of New Beginnings!
In Numerology, 2017 is a Number One Universal Year, making this a very special new year.
The year ahead is a time for planting the foundation for our lives over the next 9 years. It is a great time to make a new start and focus on what lies ahead.
New Year’s Resolutions are often made and broken within a few days, sometimes hours, of the clock chiming midnight. Perhaps it is better to set goals, small steps to help you find an improved version of you. Day by day, step by step, small changes can make a massive difference.
This year, choose one little thing that you will do differently everyday. One small change every day will create 365 changes by this time next year.
If your goal is to lose weight and get fit, on day one, you could plan to drink more water. Often a good idea after the New Year celebrations. Before you drink or eat anything, drink 250 ml (a large glass) of water. Make a commitment to do this every day. Even better, drink a cup of warm water with lemon in it – a great way to kick start your digestive system.
Then on day 2, plan to exercise for 10 minutes – just 10 minutes to start with. If you haven’t exercised for a while, this is a good way to start. It is 10 minutes more exercise than you did the day before, and if you add this to your daily routine, it will soon start to make a difference. Then, perhaps in a few days time, add another 5 or 10 minutes to your exercise plan.
Eat healthily – if you don’t eat enough fresh fruit and vegetables, add it to your daily meal plan – one portion at a time. Your tastes will soon change, as you start to crave fresh food – healthy, and full of nutrients!
